Siilo is a medical tech business based in Amsterdam, building a secure network messenger for healthcare professional.

They are on a mission to remove obtrusive silos within the medical industry, and help connect medical practitioners with the information and colleagues they need to critically improve patient treatment and outcomes. 

The Challenge

As a small business without a People function, many of the necessary People + Culture foundations were not in place. This meant that hiring, onboarding and all of those other employee touchpoints we’re done on an incredibly ad hoc basis, or not at all. Naturally, this isn’t scalable and with the need to close a Series A (completed in Q2 2020) in order to accelerate growth, it became increasingly important to deliver strong + scalable practises across that entire People experience spectrum. 

The Solution

Working 8 days a month with Siilo, we were able to complete our full Discovery in order to understand how best to prioritize needs within our Roadmap. In practise, this looked like firstly building out a strong, tailored process for hiring and onboarding, in conjunction with leading the  hiring process for an outstanding Talent Acquisition Manager to continue the companies growth. One of our other areas of focus have included goal setting, performance enablement, launching a new benefits package for the team and implementing a strong ATS + HR system for everyone.
